Monster Jam at Quicken Loans Arena
Monster Jam is this weekend. If you have a monster truck lover in your family, you won’t want to miss this amazing show. Children’s Theater at Playhouse Square
The 2012 – 2013 Children’s Theater at Playhouse Square continues this weekend with the performance of Creole for Kidz & the History of Zydeco. According to the Playhouse Theater website “Grammy® award winning Terrance Simien and his eclectic Zydeco Experience band mates have toured the globe with their unique mix of the varied rich indigenous music forms of Louisiana: zydeco-funk meets Afro-Caribbean reggae-world music.” You’ll kids may recognize some of the music from Disney’s The Princess & The Frog.

FREE Family Open Studio at Art House Inc
On the third Saturday of every month the Art House hosts a FREE Family Open Studio between 1 and 3pm. The theme for this month is “Imaginanimals”- invent a new creature or design your favorite animal using recyclables and paint. The Art House will provide the materials so you can just show up with your family and have fun.

Family Fun Day at the Massillon Rec Center

FREE Akron Youth Symphony Winter Concert

President’s Day Events & Activities

Grand Opening of Fascination Station at McKinley Museum & Discover World
In addition to special President’s Day activities, the new Fascination Station at the McKinley Museum & Discover World opens this upcoming Monday.
