Activities at Area Museums & Science Centers

Grand Opening of Fascination Station at McKinley Museum & Discover World – Canton (9am to 4pm)
President’s Day Craft Extravaganza at Cleveland Museum of Natural History – Cleveland (10am to 4:30pm)
Free Admission to Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage – Beachwood (11am to 5pm)

Fairytales & Frogs at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Visit the zoo for this special event.  Learn about the importance of frogs, the roles they have played in fairytales, participate in a frog craft, storytelling and an interactive life-size “Frogger” game, and meet the zoo’s frog mascots.  Everyone is encouraged to dress like a princess, prince or frog.
When: Monday, February 18, 2013 from 10am to 1pm
Where: 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, Ohio 44109
Cost: Kids 11 and younger will receive free admission to the Zoo and RainForest with a paid adult admission.  Note: Adult residents of Cuyahoga County (with proper identification) will receive reduced admission to The RainForest and free admission to the Zoo, following regular Monday admission rates. Out-of-county residents can also enjoy reduced winter admission to the Zoo and RainForest.

Kids Movie Special at Canton Palace Theatre

Visit the Canton Palace Theatre for a special showing of Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted for only One Dollar.
When: Monday, February 18, 2013 from 1pm to 2:45pm (doors open at noon)
